On Friday, Microsoft rebuilt Copilot around three modes called Home, Code, and Autopilot.
Autopilot is a persistent agent with its own identity, memory, and computer. It keeps working across Teams and Outlook after you log off.
Microsoft also moved its heavier agent work to usage-based billing. The more your agent does, the bigger your bill.
You don't need an enterprise contract to get the same leverage.
