Every major AI lab is moving up the stack. OpenAI turned Codex into a background computer-use agent. Anthropic launched Opus 4.7 and an app builder.

The model providers are building apps directly in categories that Figma, Notion, and Google built their moats around.

The moat was never the tech. It was the workflow. When a prompt generates the workflow, the moat gets smaller.
